Intermodal Owner/Operator - Local Memphis, TN
Description
We are seeking an experienced owner/operator to join our team in the intermodal drayage industry in Memphis, TN. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting intermodal containers to and from the rail yards, ports, and other locations as required. We are looking to hire 5-10 drivers as soon as possible. If you are a qualified applicant you can expect to hear from us within 1 business day.
Responsibilities
- Transport intermodal containers to and from rail yards, ports, and other locations
- Ensure the timely and safe delivery of containers
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications
- No majors in the prior 3 years
- No minors in the past year
- Must be able to pass the clearinghouse
- At least 1 year of experience as an owner/operator in the intermodal drayage industry
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
